Researchers at the University of Arizona have found that mobile phones carry 10 times more bacteria than most toilet seats. It’s crucial for everyone to keep their technology clean during these times. Here are some tips that might help:

Phones and Tablets

  • First: Clean your tech before you disinfect it. Bacteria can live under dirt. Screens can be cleaned with a microfiber cloth, soap, and a bit of warm water. Most cell phones today are water resistant, a little water won’t hurt. Then dry them off.
  • Second: Use a disinfecting wipe and dry with a paper towel.

Keyboards

  • We recommend using a keyboard cover that can be removed and washed thoroughly. However, if that’s not an option spray the keyboard with canned air to remove any leftover food crumbs or dust. Then wipe the keyboard down with a disinfecting wipe.
