We know summer time is full of sunshine and a good time, however we want to give you some tips to protect your technology. With extreme heats or harsh sun we run the risk of causing permanent damage to your devices. Here are 5 tips to keep your devices safe this summer.

  1. Don’t keep your devices in direct sunlight or in the car.
-Your devices can overheat and potentially damage your battery.
  2. Try to keep them away from beaches or pools.
-In order to keep your phone lasting a long time, try to prevent water damage.
-We encourage getting water-resistant cases or sleeves to protect your devices.
-Padded laptop cases are also a good way to protect your devices against debris like sand or dust.
  3. Make sure they’re not in extreme heat.
-A house without an A/C unit in high temperatures or a hot hike may cause damage to your devices.
  4. Avoid charging your devices.
-Avoid charging your devices that are already overheating because that creates a bigger risk of permanent damage to your tech.
  5. Be patient!
-Wait to use an overheated device to minimize the risk of permanent damage to your expensive tech!
